Very easy to install, and the solar panel works really well, even in indirect sunlight. The remote control is a nifty feature, especially when wi-fi for a phone-based app isn’t available. HOWEVER, the 20-second limit on lighting after motion detected is terribly annoying and even ineffective. I thought as long as I was moving it would stay on, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Although the initial motion-sensing is pretty sensitive, it will go out in 20 seconds, then you have to go stand in front of the sensor and wave to get it to come back on for another 20 seconds.

I’ve only had it installed for a month but its been working great so far. The remote is sorta useless, only used it once when setting up the light to get it to the mode I wanted. Ironic since that’s one of the reasons I bought it over similar units.Attached a photo of it at night in the mode where it stays on all night. Great battery life right now where its very bright for the first 4-5 hours after sundown and it’ll last from 9pm to 5 am but it’ll only be bright until about 1-2am, than gets pretty dim.The solar panel cable is pretty long so you can wrap it around the unit to reduce the length. Will buy another unit to put in the alleyway between neighbors, with the long cable can put the panel in the area with light.Great unit

This little light puts out a lot of light and the motion detector works well. I thought I had a problem where I can’t leave it plugged into the solar charger for it to work. That’s kind of pointless if I have to unplug it every day for it to work. But I am guessing the light sensor is not on the solar panel bc I covered the panel and it still wouldn’t come on when plugged into the charger, but to be sure it’s working correctly you have to wait until nightfall. For the price this can’t be beat.
